New Choices/New Options
Career Development ServicesThis FREE Program is designed to assist displaced homemakers and adults in transition in making career choices that are right for them. The course provides information on Nontraditional Careers, Career Assessment, Personal Development and Job/Training Search Skills. Vocational counseling is provided to help the participants design the next step toward their new careers. This may include full or part-time employment, continuing education, orĀ a combination of both. Eligibility is not based on income.

- Assertiveness
- Stress and Time Management
- Job Search Skills
- Career Counseling
- Computer Introduction Class
- Training/Education Search including high tech
- Financial Aid Search
- Math & Science Skills Update
- Financial Assistance may be available for:
- Transportation (while attending class)
- Child Care (while attending class)
- Tuition (for graduates of the program)
