Photography

Bring a couple of your own photos and your camera manual to the first class. Learn what makes a good photo from composition to exposure, and how to manage their storage and backup.

JCC Community Courses

You will not be registered for a class until payment is received. Minimum enrollment must be met before class can run. Students will be notified, if class is cancelled. JCC reserves the right to withdraw, cancel, reschedule, or modify any course or program of study. Tuition costs include lab fees and any instructional materials.


Summer Classes

Educational and recreational opportunities presented by the Warren Center of Jamestown Community College in cooperation with Allegheny Community Center (ACC). Classes will meet at ACC, located on second floor of the TAWC Building, 42 Clark St., Warren, PA, unless otherwise noted.No tuition waivers.


JCC PrimeTime Series

Walking Tour of Warren State Hospital – Warren State Hospital has been an integral part of the community for decades, yet very few of us know the history and significance of this institution. Enjoy a guided tour of the ground along with rare photos depicting its history and treatment options for patients. No cameras or videos allowed. Class will meet at Hi-Ed. Choose the day or evening session.

Night Sky Watch Programs – Visitors are welcome to bring their own telescopes as Tom will assist in setting them up. Please bring chairs, blankets and a flashlight. In case of clouds or rain, a planetarium program will be conducted at the beach house.

May 25 and August 24, Saturdays, 8:00 p.m. at the Chapman State Park Beach, Instructor: Tom Traub of Martz Observatory, Cost: Free, No registration required.
