Hi-Ed’s School to Work Partnership is designed to help students of the Warren County School District explore career and educational interests through interactive and real life experiences.
The School to Work Partnership creates and manages numerous programs in the WCSD for students of all ages throughout the school year and during the summer months.

These camps are for students in 5th – 8th grade.

LEGO Robotics Camp
June 18th – June 22nd; 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Off to the races! In this fun-filled camp, spend the week building and programming LEGO® Mindstorms® Robotics Kits in teams of 2. You’ll learn the basics of machine programming and take a field trip featuring robots in action in local industry. At the week’s conclusion, parents and families are invited to see your team battle against other teams in a race to the finish line!
PA Critters Camp
June 18th– June 22nd; 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Come learn all about the different critters living in the Pennsylvania Wilds today! Do you know what a river mouse looks like? Have you ever seen a fisher or porcupine out in the wild? If you’ve ever wanted to learn more about the critters surrounding Warren and how you can find them, come to Critter Camp! You will learn all about the different animals and insects that inhabit the Pennsylvania Wilds. You will also learn to track different animals by identifying their foot prints and their scat. On top of this, you’ll get to discover the exciting world of aquatic and terrestrial insects!
June 25th– June 29th; 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
If you love the outdoors, Wilderness Camp is for you! You will get to experience hiking, plant identification and the history on the Warren County wilderness areas. You’ll also learn how to navigate your way through the wilderness through orienteering– the art of map and compass reading to find your way around.
June 25th– June 29th; 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Learn the basics and fundamentals of film and video production. You can learn to master creative camera angles and unique shots. You will learn to work either in groups or assigned to a specific duty, such as writing, managing, or production. Edit your original footage in Adobe Premiere or a similar program to create an exciting and unique short film. We will screen your movie in a small film-festival atmosphere. You will leave camp with the knowledge required to create a professional looking movie!
