ADULT DIPLOMA PROGRAM

Graduation Ceremony

If you’re interested in earning your high school diploma,

contact Hi-Ed today about our Adult Diploma Program in Corry, PA!

What does the Diploma Program provide? – The Adult Diploma Program provides individuals who didn’t complete high school with an opportunity to earn a genuine high school diploma after successfully completing required coursework and additional program requirements.  The Diploma Program provides those who want to earn a high school diploma the opportunity to bridge the gap between the GED and skills needed for better job opportunities, a new career, or a successful college experience.

How will the Diploma Program benefit me?– The Diploma Program was designed so people, like you, could show they have the skills and abilities expected of a high school graduate. You might see the Diploma Program as a means to a better job, promotion, or more income. For those who are interested in continuing their education, the program will enhance your math, reading and critical thinking skills for college.

Who is eligible to apply?– Adults who want to earn a high school diploma and their high school class has graduated are eligible to apply for the Diploma Program. Those who have not earned a GED are required to take a pre-test to determine eligibility (8th grade reading and math level) before applying to the program.

How do I apply?– Complete the Diploma Program application form and send it along with the $125 fee to Hi-Ed. This fee is non-refundable once the program begins.

What does the program involve?– The program requires participants to earn their GED before or during the program. Free daytime and evening classes are offered to help prepare students to pass the exam.  Candidates are required to complete an additional 160-hours of course work beyond passing the GED exam, and 10-hours of community service.
